Making a BIG difference in the lives of our residents
Iris Hernandez came to Cliffside unable to breathe on her own. She was brought into the ventilator unit and as she says was given another chance at life. Each day she fought to make progress and eventually was weaned off the ventilator. Iris Hernandez spent a lot of time in rehabilitation relearning all the things she took for granted like learning to walk again, learning to eat solid food after being tube fed and finally learning to climb stairs to make her grand entrance home. Iris Hernandez was brought to tears discussing the love, care and encouragement she received from the staff during her stay at Cliffside.

Very nice place with very nice people whom I trusted my mom’s care. I had very bad prior experience with nursing homes and this and it is like God sent Cliffside to me. I am very protective and hands on with my mother and she needs a lot of care and gentle people; she is 96 years old and has two bad wounds that need care and a clean place. This is what I found here and also very nice people: The staff are very helpful, taking extremely good care of mom and helping me when visiting to feed her and spend some quality time. I am extremely grateful to all of them and Mr. Freedman, the Administrator, who is very much hands on and looking for the patients and families best interest. If you need a good place for your love one, this the place to pick! I can’t say enough of how pleased I am and the peace of mind I have knowing that my mother is in good and skillful hands.

My grandfather was at Cliffside Rehabilitation for some time. The staff was warm and caring, and they went out of their way to make him comfortable. My family was able to be relaxed knowing that my grandfather was receiving such great care. The Physical Therapists pushed him to work persistently in a kind manner. Overall, the stay at Cliffside could not have been a more pleasant experience.

I am the family member of a resident currently staying at Cliffside on the 3rd floor. Everything is great at Cliffside. My sister loves the food, and she has such nice people taking care of her. Her social worker is always in touch with us letting us know exactly how she’s feeling. She is comfortable and is treated very well, in fact, she doesn’t want to leave cliffside! She enjoys sitting in the day room looking at the water, watching planes land and watching the fish tank. Thank you, Cliffiside.
