Computer Lab

Our computer lab allows our clients Internet and email access, and yet another way for our clients to achieve and maintain independence and maximum access.

Our computer lab has been integrated into our psychological therapy programs, which are based on findings that mentally and neurologically challenged clients benefit from computer-based cognitive remediation. Such interventions have been shown to increase self-esteem, facilitate interpersonal contacts and develop better coping strategies.

Since the installation of the computer lab, clients have also improved in a number of cognitive abilities, such as attention, concentration, problem solving, some aspects of memory.

Lending Library

Our circulating library has an assortment of video-and-audio-cassettes, books and magazines for use by clients.

Beauty Parlor/ Barber Shop

At Cliffside, we realize thet looking attractive can have a positive impact on our clients’ emotional well-being. To that end we offer services by a licensed hairdresser, which are available weekly on-site in our well appointed beauty parlor.
